I Tried a Game That Was Supposed to Pay Me...

Last weekend, I actually took a little time off. The computer got a well-earned break, my phone was  supposed to be used for checking the weather and taking photos of barbecue dinners, then I finally decided to try something I'd been curious about for quite a while.

You've probably seen the ads. The ones claiming you can earn serious money just by playing fun mobile games. It all looks incredibly easy—almost a little too good to be true.

So I thought, why not? Let's put it to the test.

I downloaded an app called BestPlay and spent most of the day playing. Well... to be more accurate, I spent most of the day watching advertisements between the brief moments when the game actually let me play.

The result?

After an entire day of tapping away at my phone, I had earned the rather impressive sum of €0.92.

Sure, money is money. But if I'm honest, I'd much rather spend a few minutes answering surveys and actually get paid for my opinions than sit through hundreds of ads just to earn less than the price of a cup of coffee.

So the experiment wasn't a waste after all. Now I know how those "earn money by playing games" apps really work.

And I also know why I keep coming back to AttaPoll.

Sometimes the simplest approach really is the one that works best.

Earning During Spare Moments With AttaPoll

One of the biggest advantages of AttaPoll is flexibility.

Unlike traditional part-time work, surveys can be completed almost anywhere. Users often answer surveys while commuting, watching television, or waiting between appointments. Those small moments may not seem significant individually, but over time they can add up to meaningful rewards.

The app works because it solves a problem for both sides. Businesses gain access to consumer insight, while users gain access to a simple earning opportunity requiring very little effort to begin.

Another reason many people enjoy AttaPoll is the variety of survey topics. Questions may focus on entertainment, technology, shopping habits, social trends, or advertising preferences. This variety helps keep the experience engaging compared to repetitive online tasks.

Ultimately, the app reflects a growing trend in the digital economy: people want flexible ways to monetize their time without sacrificing their schedules or freedom.

How Mobile Games Became Part of the Reward Economy

The mobile gaming industry is enormous, and competition between developers is intense. Thousands of new games are released every year, making it difficult for developers to attract loyal players.

That is why many companies now partner with reward platforms that pay users to test and play games.

Typically, users earn rewards by downloading a game and reaching certain milestones. These may include completing tutorial levels, reaching a specific rank, or playing for a set amount of time.

For developers, the system helps generate visibility, increase downloads, and attract active users. For participants, it creates an opportunity to turn casual gaming into extra income.

This model has become increasingly popular because it combines entertainment with rewards. Instead of viewing gaming purely as a hobby, users can now see it as a small but flexible earning activity as well.

Combined with surveys and digital tasks, gaming rewards have become a major part of the modern micro-earning economy.

How to Complete Surveys, Games, and Tasks Efficiently

One thing I quickly learned is that different types of offers work better on different devices. If you want the smoothest experience and the best chance of completing everything without frustration, it helps to use both your laptop and your phone strategically.

For me, the smartest approach is to complete surveys on my laptop. Survey platforms are often designed with larger screens in mind, and some questionnaires can feel a bit awkward or cramped on a mobile device. Using a laptop makes it easier to read longer questions, navigate between pages, and avoid accidental clicks or loading issues.

Games and app-based tasks are a different story. These offers are usually designed specifically for mobile users, which means they only track correctly when completed on a phone. Since the apps, games, and promotional tasks are built around mobile usage, they generally work very smoothly there. Installing apps, reaching game milestones, or completing in-app activities tends to feel much more natural on a smartphone.

By splitting things up this way, you can make the entire experience much more convenient:

  • Use your laptop for surveys

  • Use your phone for games and app tasks

  • Switch between devices depending on the offer type

It may sound simple, but this small adjustment can save a surprising amount of time and frustration. Instead of struggling through long surveys on a tiny screen, or trying to install mobile games from a desktop device, you can use each platform for what it does best.
